Contributor Guidelines

The MENA Ledger welcomes informed pitches and contributed analysis from people with genuine knowledge of the region and its industries.

What we look for

  • A clear argument or reported insight, not a company announcement rewritten as an article
  • Regional relevance with specific evidence, examples or experience
  • Original work written for an intelligent general business audience
  • Transparent disclosure of commercial interests and client relationships

Submission expectations

Typical contributions are 800–1,500 words. Include a proposed headline, short summary, author biography, relevant links and any image-rights information. All factual claims must be supportable. Do not send confidential information you are not authorised to share.

Editorial process

Submission does not guarantee publication. Accepted work may be edited for clarity, accuracy, length, tone, legal risk and house style. We may request source material or additional disclosure before publication.

Originality and AI

Contributors must disclose substantial use of generative AI. Plagiarised, fabricated or undisclosed promotional work will be rejected. Contributors remain responsible for the accuracy and rights status of submitted material.

Commercial submissions

Paid or promotional proposals are handled separately under our Partner Content Policy and must never be presented as independent editorial work.
